Welcome to Wednesday. Safe moves are officially off the table.

I’ve noticed something interesting about how opportunities move.

If someone tells me about a problem they’re trying to solve, or an opportunity they’re hiring for, I immediately start thinking about who I know.

But I only confidently bring someone up when I’m clear on the value they add.

Not just their background.
Not just their experience.
Not just their “transferable skills.”

I need to know:

What problem do they solve?
And for who?

Because if I can explain that clearly, I can connect them immediately.

If I can’t, the opportunity usually moves toward someone easier to position.

Why this matters right now

Most people think networking is about meeting more people.

But opportunities don’t move through proximity alone.

They move through clarity.

Because when someone hears about:

  • an opening

  • a problem

  • a project

  • a need

they quickly think:

“Do I know someone for this?”

And the people who come to mind fastest are usually the ones who are easiest to explain.

Today’s Move

Make yourself easy to refer.

Write this:

I help [specific person] solve [specific problem] so they can [specific outcome].

Then test it:

  • Would someone repeat this without you in the room?

  • Would they know who to introduce you to?

  • Would they know when to bring you into a conversation?

If not:

It’s still too vague.

Refine it until it’s obvious.

Proof it works

Clarity is what makes opportunities move.

If I can quickly understand:

  • who you help

  • what problem you solve

  • why it matters

it becomes easy for me to think of you when the right conversation comes up.

For example:

“I help women entrepreneurs take faster action so they can accelerate their revenue.”

That’s clear.

I immediately understand:

  • who it’s for

  • the shift being created

  • the business outcome attached to it

And because I understand it quickly, I can repeat it quickly.

That matters more than most people realize.

Brazen Boost

This is the Hesitation Tax in another form.

Not just yours.

Other people’s.

When you’re unclear, you force others to think harder about how to use you.

Most won’t.

Brazen Law reinforced: Clarity accelerates opportunity.

A question to sit with today:

If someone had to refer you today, what would they say?

That’s today’s move. Make it easy to refer you.

P.S. - I’ve been hearing from readers who are already making different decisions—raising prices, making cleaner asks, moving faster.

That’s the point.

If you want to practice saying this out loud and refining it in real time, the BrazenEra Business Club is where we do that work.
