Welcome to Wednesday. Safe moves are officially off the table.

Last week, we named something many women feel but rarely quantify:

The Hesitation Tax.

The quiet cost of waiting too long to move.

This week, I want to show you one of the most common ways women pay it.

Not asking for help.

It doesn’t look like hesitation.

It looks like strength.

You figure it out yourself.
You stay resourceful.
You don’t want to bother anyone.
You want to get it right before you bring others in.

But in business, that pattern becomes expensive.

Why this matters right now:

Self-reliance becomes a liability when it delays momentum.

Today’s Move

Ask for one specific thing this week.

Not broadly.
Not vaguely.
Not “when it’s ready.”

Directly.

Use this:

I’m working on ______.
I need ______.
Are you the right person for this, or can you point me in the right direction?

No over-explaining.
No softening.
No waiting until it’s perfect.

Rules:

  • Do not wait until you feel “fully ready”

  • Do not turn the ask into a paragraph

  • Do not assume you have to solve it alone first

  • Make the ask before the hesitation builds

You are not being a burden.

You are accelerating the process.

Proof it works

Even experts don’t operate in isolation.

There’s a reason coaches have coaches.

Recently, my marketing coach told me:

You have good ideas, but sometimes you’re looking at them from the wrong point of view.

My response:

That’s exactly why I have you.

Because perspective is leverage.

Last week inside our BrazenEra Business Club Power Huddle, we practiced one-liners for in-person networking.

And something became clear quickly:

What you think you’re saying
and what someone else hears
are not always the same.

As a business owner, you know your value.

But your client decides if they understand it.

And that only happens when you step outside your own point of view.

Brazen Boost

Independence is powerful.

But isolation is expensive.

You don’t build faster by carrying everything alone.

You build faster by accessing the right perspective, at the right time.

Brazen Law reinforced: Leverage includes people, not just strategy.

A question to sit with today:

Where are you trying to figure it out alone, when the right conversation would move you forward faster?

That’s today’s move. Make it before Wednesday decides for you.

And one more thing.

Our next Trailblazers: The Women-Biased Intentional Networking Hike is happening this Saturday, March 21st in Culver City.

This is where you stop thinking in isolation and start getting real-time perspective, connection, and momentum.

If you’ve been meaning to join us, this is your moment.
